Prewedding shoot – Beacon Fell

A few weeks ago I met up with Kirsty and Scott at Beacon Fell just out of Preston, near Longridge and Barton, to do a pre wedding shoot.  We also discussed their wedding day which is happening tomorrow in Windermere, in the Lake District. They brought their dog Charlie, a miniature longhaired sausage dog, to get a some photos of him as well, as he won’t be at the wedding! We had a lovely walk around the area stopping to take photos in many different places. It was a beautiful day and was a good way of us getting to know each other before their wedding. I got some really natural photographs of the couple as they were joking around together. The couple said they weren’t very photogenic so I just went with the flow to take some really beautiful, natural and relaxed photographs. I don’t like to do any cheesy forced poses that could cause anyone to feel uncomfortable. I let the surroundings and their chemistry make the photo. I’m looking forward to being their wedding  photographer tomorrow and taking some more creative photos of the couple. If you would like a couple, family or engagement photo shoot get in touch.

A selection of their wedding photos can be seen on my blog about Merewood Wedding Photography.
