Slaley Hall wedding photographer. Faye and Jamie’s wedding at Slaley Hall, Hexham. It was a beautiful winter wedding on a sunny but cold day, the views over the golf course and surrounding country side was amazing. I had first met Faye and Jamie at Faye’s sisters wedding. It was lovely to see some familiar faces. The bridal prep was a very good laugh and it was good to see Faye’s dad, who later gave an epic speech. The room were they were getting ready was ace with a bath tub in the middle of the room. I had heard Jamie was at the hotel so I went to see him. Being Scottish he was of curse n a kilt and looked very dapper. There was a Northumberland Piper who lead Faye and her dad from her room, to the ceremony room and down the aisle. (It was ace and he was a really nice guy).
I had recently found out that I was going to to be a dad again, so seeing Ian, the brides dad’s face as he walked his daughter down the aisle, really got me and I hope I will have that honour one day.
The ceremony was a truly wonderful occasion, with a few tears and a lot of laughs. It was like that through out the wedding, I just documented the day and let the photography tell the story of the day. It was a privilege to be asked to be Faye and Jamie’s wedding photographer.
