Falcon Manor Wedding Photography
This was truly amazing wedding at Falcon Manor. It was only my second time as a Falcon Manor wedding photographer and the venue did not disappoint. Having photographed Dez and Jacqui’s wedding at Easter it was great to be back to photograph here again when the garden was in full bloom. The gardens looked amazing and I couldn’t wait to get to do the couple portraits. I arrived to photograph the groom and guests arriving and the venue itself. The ceremony room has windows all down one side looking out to the garden and lets loads of light in. The room looked stunning with white trees at either side of the ceremony table with white petals and candles down the aisle.
Wedding ceremony
As Sara walked down the aisle she looked stunning and Matt got a couple of tears in her eyes as she walked down the aisle. It was a short but emotional ceremony with the love these two have for each over was so obvious in the laughter and tears they shared during the vows.
Wedding Portraits
The gardens at Falcon Manor are perfect for wedding photos and the views of the surroundings are stunning. We got the more traditional family shots out the way before getting the bridal party to join us. the majority of the couple wedding portraits were done after the wedding breakfast, when the light is better for me and the couple had had time to relax, chat to their guests and enjoy their wedding day. I want the wedding to be a wedding and not a photoshoot so I try and take the couple of for a few short periods during the wedding day so they aren’t missing out on what else is going on.
Pastie in a Barm Cake!
The speeches, a total of five, went a similar way to the ceremony, with a lot of laughter and a few tears. The best man had some very funny stories and even provided some pasties. Matt and his best man are from Bolton and in Bolton theres a local delicacy to have a Pastie in a barm cake, it was disputed whether to have it with HP or tomato sauce as well as if it is a barm cake or tea cake. I’m told the best pasties are from Carr’s in Bolton and to have it with brown sauce.
Here is a selection of my favourite Falcon Manor wedding photos from the day.
