The West Mill Wedding Photographer
Ash and Becky wedding photography at the West Mill. They choose to have their wedding at The West Mill, in Derby and it was amazing. The venue is a dedicated wedding venue split between 4 floors, it is set on the bank of the Derwent river. This industrial converted warehouse offers separate spaces for your ceremony, wedding breakfast, drinks reception and party! The grounds and the building are perfect for wedding photos, with so many different areas to get amazing shots.
Wedding Ceremony
I arrived on the day to get the girls getting ready at the Mill before popping round the corner to the Mill House to get a few photos of the boys getting ready. The ceremony room still holds little details to the Mills former use that really add to the character of the place. A family friend gave a lovely reading/speech during the ceremony that had everyone, especially Ash smiling.
After the ceremony it was time for the drinks reception on the Ground floor. We nipped out for a few family photos before sneaking off for just the couple photos. We had a little walk around the Mill, before rejoining their guests for drinks and cracking on with celebrating their wedding. It is such a cool venue with so much to offer.
The Party
After all the wedding formalities and a lovely wedding breakfast, it was time for the party and it didn’t disappoint. The dance floor was full and Becky and her girls danced to the band with some exquisite moves. Her are some of my favourite West Mill wedding photos.
