The Midland Hotel Wedding Photographer
Emma and Marks stunning wedding at The Midland Hotel. It was a brilliant wedding, the amazing art deco venue was matched with all the details of the day. Emma, an architect had picked The Midland for its architecture in mind and included in the wedding photography. Both the bride and groom were getting ready at the Midland, so I was able to photograph both of them getting ready. Mark’s hands were shaking before seeing Emma and when he did it was a bit emotional for everyone. As a wedding photographer you get to see a lot of things a normal guest does not. It is a great honour to see both the groom and the brides reaction at seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. They had smiles on their faces the whole ceremony.

When I take the couple off to photograph just the two of them, it is also a special time, as its the first time they are alone and free to talk. So I use this to let them relax and photograph in a documentary style of wedding photography. Using the chemistry between them to create natural relaxed photographs.
After the speeches there was an amazing sunset over the bay which of course was not to be missed. And we got some amazing sunset photos. It was an ace wedding both visually and fun, here are some of my favourites from the day.
