Stirk House Wedding Photographer

This was simply a stunning wedding and a perfect day for Anna and Rob. This was my first time at Stirk House, and I was very impressed by what the venue had to offer, as well as the great staff. It was great to be Anna and Rob’s Stirk House wedding photographer.

It was a bit drizzly when I arrived at Stirk House, after starting at Anna’s parents in the morning. It soon cleared up and turned into a really beautiful day and evening. The whole day was relaxed, with a lot of laughter, sharing with their friends and family. I had been recommended from a previous bride’s mum, and after seeing my work, Anna and Rob booked me for my natural documentary style. I did a prewedding shoot for Anna and Rob had a couple of months before the wedding and that really did help them to be relaxed in front of the camera on the wedding day.

Stirk House An Amazing Countryside Wedding Venue

Stirk House is an amazing venue with gorgeous grounds, set in the idyllic Ribble Valley. It has stunning views of the surrounding Lancashire countryside. Stirk house has been hosting guests since 1933 and today it offers luxury accommodation whilst still keeping a traditional, cosy atmosphere in the lounge and bar areas. The ivy that covers the house flows into the conservatory, and when the sunlight comes through the windows it looks magical. My favourite couple photos from this wedding were taken in there. Stirk House is truly a perfect Lancashire countryside wedding venue.

The grounds are vast with wooded areas and lovely landscaped gardens. Perfect for going for a little walk and perfect for my unobtrusive style of wedding portraits.
