Lancashire Wedding Photographer- Whitehall Hotel
A great wedding day at the Whitehall Hotel in Darwen, Lancashire near Blackburn. The bride was had just got there when I arrived and was up in one of the rooms starting to get ready. I went up to get some photos of the wedding dress and shoes. The wedding guests started to arrive along with the groom and his sons who were his best men. Whats great about having all of the wedding in one place is that I can nip between rooms to get everything that is happening. I got some lovely portraits of all the bridal party before the ceremony.
I popped back upstairs to do some more photographs of the bride getting ready and then the short walk down to the suite the wedding was happening.
There were plenty of places to get some great group and family photos including a photo of all the wedding guests. I then took the bride and groom for a little walk around the wedding venue, it was perfect for a wedding photographer as there were a lot of different areas to get some lovely photos of the happy couple.
The speeches were very emotional with a few tears, but a more laughter and smiling faces. I moved round the room getting very natural photographs of the wedding guests reactions.
After the all the formalities there was plenty of time to get more natural spontaneous photographs of everyone enjoying themselves. Some of my favourites are of the children playing in the venues gardens. It was then time for the night do and the first dance.
