Farington Lodge Wedding
It was lovely to head to Farington Lodge for another wedding and to be a Farington Lodge Wedding Photographer again. I hadn’t been for a while so I was looking forward to photographing Jodie and Paul’s wedding at Farington Lodge. Farington Lodge is a Grade listed ii Georgian House set on 3 arches of lovely lawned gardens. Farington Lodge can hold up to 150 people but also can provided more intimate number weddings. A choice of two ceremony rooms as well as an outdoor space to choose from for your wedding to say your wedding day vows.
Jodie and Paul’s Farington Lodge Wedding
I headed out to bridal prep at Paul and Jodie house which took me all of 3 minutes drive from my home. I arrived to a full house with Jodie and her brides maids all getting there hair and make up done by The Hair and Makeup Lady. As usual I took time to photograph the gorgeous wedding dress and the beautiful flowers as well as all the other details that help to tell the story of the wedding day. Jodie’s dad arrived to see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time and to head to Farington Lodge for the wedding. Its always a very special moment, between father and daughter.
At Farington Lodge, Paul was waiting with his grooms men and the guests for the bride to arrive. The ceremony was a lovely with a few laughs. After the ceremony everyone went outside for the confetti shot and the drinks reception. While I took the couple for 10 minutes for a few photographs before getting them back to their guests to enjoy their wedding while I photographed, the newly weds and their friends enjoying their day. During your wedding day i try not to take you away from your guests for too long, so you can really enjoy your wedding day.
