Newcastle Wedding Photographer
This was my first time at the George Washington Hotel for Lee and Carly’s wedding. It was great to head back to Newcastle, where I am originally from, to photograph a wedding. I love the North East theres so many good wedding venues and the local scenery is amazing.
The Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel is located in Washington and is a spa and golf 4 star hotel.
I first meet Lee when I photographed his mums wedding, 5 or so years ago. I also photographed his sisters wedding back in July, her lovely wedding can be seen on the here. So it was great to get to do some another Newcastle wedding photography
I arrived to photograph bridal prep in one of the lovely modern rooms with a view of the golf course from the windows that fill the whole wall. Letting in loads of light and making it lovely to photograph in. It was so lovely to photograph this part of the day with Carly and her friends, there was a lot of love in the room.
Wedding Photography
The wedding ceremony was short but full of emotion and there were a few tears in peoples eyes as this awesome couple got married. The drinks reception was so chilled out in the bar, all the guests were having a really good time. We nipped out for some couple photographs around the grounds of the golf club.
The whole wedding was really relaxed and just about having a good time with the newly weds family and friends. Lee an avid Newcastle fan even got to watch the Newcastle match and them getting beat didn’t even spoil the day.
