Mere Court Wedding Photography

Amanda and Dan’s wedding at Mere Court Hotel in Cheshire. I had first meet them while photographing a wedding that Amanda was a bridesmaid.  The bride and bridesmaid were getting ready at the hotel in a lovely room that looked out into the gardens where the ceremony was going  to take place. They had done the legal part of the wedding the day before and were having a Humanist blessing followed by the wedding reception. It was lovely photographing the morning prep with every one very excited for the day especially the brides Grandma, who had been bought a special pair of slippers to match the colour of brides shoes. I always try and photograph this part of the day as natural as possible, documenting what is happening without getting in the way. The groom arrived with his many groomsmen who he had bought special cuff links of their favourite superheroes.

The brides father reaction to seeing his daughter in her wedding dress was priceless, it is one of my favourite photos from the day.

The weather was great and the ceremony was held outside in the gardens. Before the guests enjoyed the drinks reception and ice creams, whilst I took the bride and groom for some photos in the grounds. Which was a stunning location for wedding photography.
