Kate and Richard had their amazing wedding at St Mary’s lighthouse, Whitley Bay followed by a laid back, relaxed reception at Crusoe’s on Longsands beach in Tynemouth.
I started the day at the Mother of the bride’s house photographing bridal prep and capturing all the emotional build up. Kate and the bridesmaids had their hair and make up done by Diva Dust
A lovely moment was when the father of the bride arrived to see his daughter ready for her wedding day. Kate’s littlest bridesmaid, her daughter Rose, was a little princess for the day.
We headed to the lighthouse, where a bagpipe player was playing while guests arrived. The ceremony was followed by a drinks reception and canapés.
The couple shots were taken on the rocks around the lighthouse.
We then moved onto Crusoe’s for the evening reception. There were speeches followed by food and then dancing into the night.
