Preston Wedding Photographer – Crown Lane Free Methodist

Rachel and Josh had their epic wedding at Crown Lane Free Methodist Church, on the outskirts of Preston.  I shot photos on Rachel’s family farm, before moving onto Mytton Fold, in Whalley for their reception.

Just as I arrived at Rachel’s parents farm house there was a down pour of hailstone. The house was full of the bridal party getting ready, with hair and make up being done by Fiona Longshaw  and Emma Askew.  The Church was only down the lane so I walked along to meet the groom and his groomsmen arriving to take a few portraits of them.  I then headed back to photograph the last of the bridal prep and Rachel getting in her lovely wedding dress from Amelia’s Bridal. One of my favourite photos from the day is Rachel in the hall way just before she leaves to church with her flowers from The Flower Farm Florist. The bride and her dad got a short lift to the church by Morris Minor.

The wedding ceremony was a lovely service. The weather had cleared up so we were able to get outside for the traditional family wedding photos. I took the bride and groom and their bridal party to the family farm to get some really unique and personal wedding photos. The rain then started so we all ran into a barn to carry on the photos and I feel even though it was raining we still managed to get some great photos and rain doesn’t have to spoil wedding photos.

It was then onto Mytton Fold who had made the room look amazing.
