Nicola and Mick Wedding at the Villa, Wrea Green (2021 update)
Nicola and Mick’s wedding at the stunning St John’s Church, Broughton and The Villa, Wrea Green. I was looking forward to another at The Villa wedding photographer. I started with the groom, before going to the brides to photograph wedding preparations. It was a calm morning with hair and make up by Simply Blow Bar. Nicola was getting taken to the church by the amazing Broughton Wedding Cars. Nicola’s bouquet and the wedding flowers were by Sunflowers Florist.
I headed to church to photograph Mick and his groomsman. The weather had turned nice after raining all morning and it got better and better. The church is a lovely church on the A6 just as you leave Preston.
I took the bride and groom and the wedding party around the grounds of The Villa for photographs while the guests enjoyed some music and canapes in the piano lounge.
The speeches even had an award ceremony for the stag do with a trophy for the man of a few awards such as Best/worst shirt, Biggest Surprise, Biggest Let Down and Disappointment.
I took the bride and groom out in again after the speeches for some more natural photos in the lovely evening weather.
The evening entertainment was by Dance Floor Couture. I photographed the first dance and some amazing dance moves of the guests.
